“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”

We continue our work in the Gospel of John. Here are links for our discussions in chapter 2:
It’s been depressing to see the level of animosity directed at international students by the current administration. Having friends who were international students was one of the highlights of my college experience. The college I attended only had about a thousand students, but I was blessed with friends from places like China, Taiwan, Mexico, Thailand, Morocco, Ghana, and Zimbabwe. I had similar experiences when in grad school. Later when I was teaching, I was again blessed by friendships with fellow faculty members and students who were from other countries and cultures. When my kids went off to college I encouraged them to seek out friendships with people from around the world – and they did!
